Curfew Ordinance

Dear Point Marion Utility Customers:

This notice is to inform you that the Borough is raising its base water and sewage rates. The new rates become effective with your current bill, which was mailed out yesterday (March 27th).

The new base rate for water is $50.00, and the new base rate for sewage is $39.00. The usage and garbage rate will remain the same.

The base rate increases will be used to establish a Capitol Improvement Fund for Borough utilities. The fund will be used for major equipment purchases and grant fund matches. The establishment of the fund is in response to the Borough's recently completed 2023 Asset Management Plan.

This plan and other information relating to Borough operations will be presented to the public at a Town Hall Meeting that will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Point Marion Fire Hall.  All are invited - we encourage you to attend.
